Zamalek are seeking to make the most of their newly-found confidence under new coach Ihab Galal as they face bottom side Nasr with the aim of edging closer to their target of occupying second place in the Egyptian Premier League.
The White Knights should find no difficulty brushing aside a poor Nasr side that are languishing at the bottom of the table with 14 points, 11 adrift of the safety zone with 11 matches remaining.
Both sides meet at Cairo Stadium on Thursday, with Zamalek looking to continue their recent fine run under promising coach Galal as they gradually adapt to his attacking strategies.
Their convincing 3-1 win over Petrojet on Monday marked the first time they had secured four straight wins this season, moving up to third with 45 points, just one behind second-placed Ismaily who have a game in hand.
With runaway leaders Ahly having virtually secured the title, Zamalek, Ismaily and Masry (fourth with 42 points and two matches in hand) are vying for a second-place finish that earns qualification for the lucrative African Champions League.
