The English Premier League has confirmed one more positive coronavirus case in the latest round of mass testing.

The single case is from a total of 1,541 samples that were analyzed between Monday and Tuesday this week.

The identity of the individual who tested positive is yet to be revealed, but as it is the norm, he or she is expected to self-isolate for a period of seven days.

This now brings the total of confirmed cases to 17 from the nine rounds of testing so far.

The latest confirmation comes a day after action resumed on Wednesday night with two matches.

More fixtures are lined up through the weekend, with Manchester United up next against Tottenham on Friday night.
