ENPPI beat Ghazl El-Mahalla 3-1 despite playing with ten men for around 65 minutes due to the first-half dismissal of defender Rami Sabri.
Striker Salah Ashour scored twice in the first 22 minutes but Mahalla’s Mahmoud Bazid narrowed the gap after converting a penalty shortly after.
