Zamalek’s Portuguese coach Jaime Pacheco did not include Tunisian midfielder Ferjani Sassi in his squad or bulldozer striker Mostafa Mohamed due to crises surrounding their contract renewal.

Moreover, Moroccan winger Hamid Ahadad was also not included in Saturday’s squad because of his reported desire to leave the team. Zamalek TV channel had reported that the 26-year-old winger asked Pacheco to leave Zamalek as he doesn’t accept a substitute role, which was approved by the coach.

However, Zamalek’s striker problem will be partially resolved as promising striker Osama Faisal will be ready for El-Gaish’s game after having fully recovered from COVID-19.

Zamalek’s squad list for Talae El-Gaish game came as follow:

Goalkeepers: Mohamed Abo Gabal, Mohamed awaad.

Defenders: Mahmoud Alaa, Mohamed Abdel-Ghani, Mahmoud “El-Wensh” Hamdi, Hazem Emam, Abdallah Gomaa, Ahmed Abo El-Fotouh, Ahmed Eid, Hamza Mathlouthi.

Midfielders: Tarek Hamed, Emam Ashour, Eslam Gaber, Ahmed “Zizo” Sayed, Youssef “Obama” Ibrahim, Achraf Bencharki, Mahmoud “Shikabala” Abdel-Razik, Mohamed Ounajem, Hussein Faisal.

Forwards: Osama Faisal, Omar El-Said.
