Hull City (Zaki) 2-2 Wolves, Barclays Premier League News …

Wolves twice came from a goal down to earn a point at Hull in an unexpectedly entertaining relegation tussle.

Brown sent on Amr Zaki in place of Altidore for the final 20 minutes but there was no dramatic late goal for Hull as Wolves once again turned to their strong suit, defence, and held out resolutely.

And they nearly produced a winner of their own when new loan signing Geoffrey Mujangi Bia drove a shot straight at Myhill after a Wolves free-kick had caused panic in the Hull box.

Hull city boss Phil Brown:
“[Stephen Hunt] did show for me that he wanted to be a Hull City player and I think he showed that to the fans as well. I’m very confident [he will stay] and the chairman is working very hard to sort out the finances. If I sold Stephen Hunt these fans would go crazy.

“Defensively the lapses have to stop. We have to minimise the mistakes we’re making. Having gone in front twice I’m the more disappointed manager I would imagine.”
