Mohamed Fad,Al Ahly,hamstring injury

Ahly striker Mohamed Fadl will be sidelined for three weeks due to a hamstring injury, the club said.

The 30-year-old picked up the injury during a training session last Wednesday and medical scans determined the extent of the problem.

“The player tore a hamstring and he will miss the team’s trainings for three weeks at least,” Ahly doctor Walid Abdel-Baky said on the club’s official website.

Fadl, Ahly’s first-choice striker, has been plagued by constant injury problems this season.  He will miss the Red Devils’ game against MCDR in the Egyptian Premier League next Saturday.

The defending champions lie fourth in the league table with 25 points, six behind leaders and arch-rivals Zamalek.
