Al Ahly is back on the right track with a 3-1 victory over Dakhleya behind closed doors on Wednesday.
Al Ahly regained their position on top of the Egyptian Premier League after claiming a 3-1 home victory over promoted Dakhleya at an empty Cairo Stadium on Wednesday.
The Red Devils, missing their supporters due to a sanction imposed by the Egyptian Football Association for crowd troubles, went to the locker room 2-0 up, thanks to goals from central defender Wael Gomaa and striker Emad Meteb.
Hossam Ghaly put the result beyond doubt with a second-half header before Guinean forward Lama Kone grabbed a late consolation for Dakhleya.
Al Ahly had to play with 10 men for around 14 minutes after Mauritania striker Dominique Da Silva, who came on as a second-half substitute, was injured with all three substitutions made.
