American coach Bob Bradley reveals strong behind-the-scenes support from both Ahly and Zamalek coaches for Egypt’s national team, with 16 players already booked for Pharaohs upcoming matches
“I am confident that Shehata backs me a lot to reach the World Cup finals. I will invite him soon to the team’s camp.
“Also Ahly’s coach Manuel Jose gave me his experiences about the best ways of dealing with Egyptian players,” added the 54-year-old tactician.
Under American boss Bradley, Egypt won six friendly games, drew twice and lost once (a 2-0 defeat) by five-time world champions, Brazil in November last year.
