Egypt Olympic team will play Iraq, Sudan and Lebanon in the first round of the Arab Cup set to be played next June in Saudi Arabia.
Egypt’s Olympic team was drawn into Group C on Monday in Jeddah along with Iraq, Sudan and Lebanon on Sunday.
The Olympic team will replace the Pharaohs in this regional competition in preparations for this summer’s London Games.
Group A includes Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Arab Emirates and Palestine, while Group B includes Libya, Bahrain, Morocco and Yemen.
The upcoming Arab Cup will be the first since 2002.
