Egypt’s U-20 team held to a 2-2 draw against Romania in a Monday friendly match amid preparations for the U-20 World Cup.
The Egyptian team is currently holding a training camp to prepare for the prestigious tournament, which will kick off on 21 June.
Two first-half goals by Ahmed Hassan ‘Koka’ and Mahmoud Hassan ‘Trezeguet’ gave the young Pharaohs an early lead.
But they failed to maintain their dominance, with Romania scoring two goals of its own in the second half.
