“We have already negotiated with Renard, reaching agreements regarding his financial demands and his staff,” he added.

The salary demanded by the French trainer is 32,640 Euros more than the 17,360 Euros salary that was paid to former Egypt Coach Shawky Gharib during his tenure.
The ex-Black Stars physical trainer was earlier asking for 80,000 Euros to take up the post but had to relax his salary demand after he was convinced by his agent.
The EFA has put together a 5-man Committee to screen the three candidates, who have applied for the post.
Renard recorded his second AFCON title success with Ivory Coast, when he led the Elephants to defeat Ghana 9-8 on penalties in the final of the Equatorial Guinea 2015 last Sunday.
Egypt, winners of the Nations Cup a record amount of times with seven titles under their belt, dismissed coach Shawky Gharib after they set an unwanted record of failing to qualify for the biennial tournament three times in a row.
