The match will be held in Cairo Stadium behind closed doors.
The second leg will be played in Kenya next month.
Hossam El-Badry, who has tested dozens of players in several training camps since taking charge of the team in late November, will coach the Olympic team until the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Under former coach Hani Ramzy, Egypt qualified for the 2012 Olympics in London for the first time in 20 years. They were knocked out in the quarterfinal after slumping to a 3-0 defeat against Japan.
The match is expected to be held behind closed doors due to security concerns, which has been a major issue since the Port Said disaster three years ago.
