The 30-year-old player returned to training last Wednesday for the first time in nine months after recovering from a longstanding injury, having undergone knee surgery in May.
Gedo was supposed to be back in action after only six months but had to go through a longer rehabilitation program in Germany, with pain in his knee lasting longer than expected.
