Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has no intention of selling Mohamed Salah to Fiorentina after his loan spell and says it would take a spectacular bid to prise him away from Stamford Bridge.
The winger is currently on a season-long loan at the Serie A side and has hit the ground running with three league goals from two starts and four sub appearances.
The Egyptian has also captured the hearts of the fans – who he has been posting photos of himself with – as well as the press around the club.
Salah is only 22 and Fiorentina would have the chance of getting him on another loan next season as Chelsea are not afraid of farming out their youngsters for prolonged periods, as proved by Gael Kakuta and Josh McEachran’s continued absences from Stamford Bridge.
But Fiorentina are not interested in simply harvesting Salah’s talents short-term and would prefer to tie up a transfer for him as soon as possible, according to reports in Italy.
