Al Ahly has finalized the signing of Gabon striker Malik Evona from Moroccan side Wydad.
The Cairo giants have reportedly offered $1.5 million to sign Evona, 24, for three years.
The Red Devils are working to boost their frontline before the start of the coming season. Evona’s signature will be the second signing this summer after Saudi side Al-Shabab announced that Ahly have snatched the signature of their Ghanaian striker John Antwi for $1 million.
Ahly are struggling this season and are third in the Egyptian Premier League with 61 points. They were eliminated from the CAF Champions League from the round of 16.
