Egypt will play Cameroon & Australia Next Month
Egyptian Football Association (EFA) vice-president Hassan Farid announced on Friday that national team coach Hector Cuper has agreed to a friendly against Cameroon in October but has requested that the game is not played until 8 or 9 October.
“The Cameroonian FA sent us an official invitation to play a friendly on 5 October,” Farid said on the EFA’s website on Friday.
“I discussed it with Egypt’s coach Cuper, who welcomed the offer but asked that we push the date back to coordinate with our commitment to another friendly with Australia on 13 October,” Farid added.
“We have sent this request to the Cameroonian FA and we are waiting for their response.”
