Bassem Morsi out of service for at least 1 week

Zamalek & Egypt’s striker Bassem Morsi will be out of service for at least one week, Zamalek’s football director Ismail Youssef told reporters on Monday.

Bassem picked a back injury during Egypt’s 2-0 win over Ghana in the World Cup qualifiers on Sunday.

“Scans revealed that the player needs only one week of treatment before resuming regular training,” Zamalek’s football director told reporters on Monday.

Zamalek will face new-coming Tanta in a league game on Friday as they eye to join the race for the league title.
