Al Ahly signs Moroccan striker Walid Azaro

Ahly coach Hossam El-Badry has confirmed the signing of Moroccan striker Walid Azaro for 1.3M (USD) who currently plays with Difaa El Jadida.

“Azaro is now an Ahly player. He is an outstanding player. He is one of three Morocco-based players in his national team,” the 57-year-old tactician stated to the club’s TV channel.

El-Badry needs to strengthen his front-line especially after the sudden departure of Souleymane Coulibaly and the serious injury of Marwan Mohsen.

Azaro, 21, was also targeted by some French clubs, according to Moroccan reports.
