The EFA will Allows 4 foreign players for each club in the New Season

The clubs of the Egyptian Premier League have agreed with the Egyptian Football Association to register four foreign players in each team’s squad, instead of the previous three.

“The majority approved registering four foreign players instead of three in each team squad for the new season,” the EFA revealed in a statement on its official website on Monday after a meeting between the board and the clubs.

“The meeting also discussed the fans’ return to the stands, as there will be another meeting with interior ministry officials to set the ways to allow fans to enter the stadiums, the allowed numbers, and the responsibilities of each club,” the statement added.

The Egyptian Premier League new season is set to start on 15 September.
