FIFA RANKINGS DECEMBER 2018: Egypt 56th

Egypt’s national football team has held its position at number 56 in the FIFA global football rankings, published on 20 December.

The Pharaohs climbed two positions in FIFA’s ranking last month after beating Tunisia 3-2 in the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers to claim second place in Group J as well as securing a place in the tournament’s finals.

Egypt keeps their eighth place among African countries and third among Arab countries, after Tunisia (26) and Morocco (40).
