Elneny closing in on a move to AC Milan
Mohamed Elneny’s father has claimed his son is closing in on a move to AC Milan. Elneny has spent the first half of the season playing in Turkey with Besiktas after falling out of favour at the Emirates.
This season, Elneny has made 17 appearances for Besiktas and appears to have impressed enough to court interest from other clubs.
Arsenal are short on funds and would, therefore, be interested in the experienced midfielder could provide new manager Mikel Arteta with some much-needed money.
Elneny’s dad Nasser has revealed the Egypt international could be on his way to the San Siro.
He told TV channel Sada Al Balad: “The negotiations between Mohamed and Milan are at an advanced stage, but the contract has not yet been signed.
“They have renewed interest in my son and the next few hours could be decisive for sign with Milan.
“He did well with Besiktas but wants to move to a stronger league at Milan.”
