Pyramids FC signs Ramadan Sobhi from Huddersfield
Egyptian Premier League side, Pyramids FC, have signed Al Ahly forward Ramadan Sobhi form English side Huddersfield.
According to Egyptian top football analyst, Abou El Matay Zaki Ramadan agreed on all terms and signed with Pyramids FC and will be available in the team’s squad for next season in the Egyptian League.
Sobhi had a promising start to the season with Al Ahly, scoring five goals and providing one assist in nine appearances, before suffering a thigh injury that sidelined him since mid-December.
And with his loan spell ended last week, according to Sky Sports, Huddersfield have told Al Ahly they will have to buy Ramadan Sobhi if they want him back.
The Terriers are not willing to accept renewing the 23-year-old’s loan for another year and want to cash in from his sale as they want to reshape their squad ahead of the next season in the Championship.
Al Ahly offered £3.3M to buy Ramadan Sobhi but I guess he wanted to exit Al Ahly Club.
