For his part, the player bade farewell to the team and the technical staff, and Sayed Abdel Hafeez, the Red Devils Football Manager, thanked the player for the period he spent playing for the club.
Geraldo had joined Al Ahly from the Angolan Primeiro de Agosto team in January of 2019, to win the Premier League championship twice and the CAF Champions League in its last version with the Red team.
