Mostafa Mohamed on fire with Galatasaray | VIDEO
Mohamed joined Galatasaray on a one-and-a-half-year loan deal from Zamalek and hit the ground running in the Turkish Super Lig.
He scored on debut from the penalty spot and produced a great performance in the Istanbul derby against Fenerbahçe days later, scoring the winning goal, he also scored his 3rd goal today in the Turkish Cup.
Alanyaspor went 3-0 up with a brace from Khouma Babacar either side of the interval, including a penalty, and a goal from Salih Ucan.
Mohamed gave Galatasaray a glimmer of hope by netting on 83 minutes with a poacher’s effort, reacting quickest to a rebound to stab the ball home.
Gedson Fernandes made it 3-2 in stoppage time but Galatasaray failed to find a decisive equalizer before the final whistle.
Mohamed continued his impressive start to life in Turkish football after joining from Cairo club Zamalek on a one-and-a-half-year loan deal.
He marked his debut by converting a penalty in Galatasray’s 3-0 league win over Istanbul Basaksehir on 2 February before scoring a superb goal in their precious 1-0 derby victory over Istanbul rivals Fenerbahce last Saturday.

Galatasaray paid $2 million for Mohamed’s services, with an option to make the deal permanent at the end of the year.
