Ahmed Elgendy Wins First Silver Medal for Egypt
Ahmed Elgendy made Olympics history for Egypt, winning the country’s first-ever medal in the men’s modern pentathlon and the country’s first silver medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Elgendy, who is only 21 years old, finished in second place with 1,477 points, just five points away from Britain’s Joseph Choong.
