Both sides are squaring off for an outright top spot in the group, having each garnered maximum points from two matches and have the same goal difference. A victory for either team would take them top of the group and a quarterfinal clash with second in Group C.
This will be the 24th meeting between the two sides and Algeria have a superior record in previous matches played.

The Desert Foxes have 10 wins to their name while six matches ended in a share of the spoils. Egypt were victorious on seven occasions.
This will be their first meeting since their semifinal clash at the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations when Egypt ran riot in a 4-0 victory en-route to their three-peat.
“We will play the Algeria game with the team spirit for which we are known, we will work hard to win. Each game is like a final for us,” the Portuguese tactician told the pre-game press conference.
“The Egyptian team has many good players, so we will work hard to show our superiority. Our aim is to win in every game to reach the maximum stage we can reach in the tournament, putting into consideration respecting the other teams.
“We are not under pressure, but we are professionals and it is our job to improve. I am very excited about tomorrow’s match and it will be a pleasant game for football fans and our supporters and we are looking forward to it,” he added.
The 68-year-old coach revealed that Ahly’s attacking midfielder Mohamed ‘Afsha’ Magdy is not yet back to full form after suffering a thigh injury and Queiroz will not risk putting him in this game.
