The Whites hope to bounce back to winning ways after a disappointing home draw against Petro Atletico of Angola 2-2 on Saturday in their opening game of the African Champions League group stage.
French coach Patrice Carteron has blamed fatigue and lack of preparation for the result, with his international players just returning from the Africa Cup of Nations last week.
Smouha are fourth after playing eight games, with 15 points after winning four games, tying three and losing once.
The Whites – who are second with 19 points – will still be missing their midfield pillar Tarek Hamed, who has been absent for more than two months with a knee injury.
Also, right back Hazem Emam is ruled out due to injury.
French coach Patrice Carteron has included three players from the youth team; goalie El-Sayed Ateya, defender Mohamed Tarek, and forward Hossam Ashraf.
The last three matches between the two teams went to Zamalek, as the Whites won two games in the league and a third victory at the Egypt Cup.
The game will take place at Borg El-Arab Stadium after being moved from Alexandria Stadium.
