Venue: Cairo international stadium

Last week, Juan Carlos Osorio was appointed as the new coach of the team, replacing Jesualdo Ferreira, a Portuguese coach who left the team by mutual agreement in the last week of March.
In the meantime, local coaches Ahmed Abdel-Makssoud and Medhat Abdel Hadi have been in charge of the team this month, which has been facing difficulties on all fronts.
For the first time this year, Zamalek managed to clinch two consecutive victories by defeating the bottom-ranked teams NBE Club and Harras El-Hodoud with scores of 1-0 and 3-0 respectively. As a result, they were able to retain their fourth position on the league table with 39 points, which is 11 points behind the leaders Ahly, who still have three games in hand.
Juan Carlos Osorio will aim to sustain the team’s recent winning streak and capitalize on Arab Contractors’ unsteady performances, which have been far from their performances earlier in the season.
Arab Contractors have been unable to secure a single victory in their last eight games, having lost four matches and drawing the remaining four. In the previous fixture, Zamalek was unable to score against Arab Contractors, resulting in a goalless draw.
However, this time around, Zamalek will aim to secure a win as they strive to earn a spot in the continental tournament.
