Blackburn Rovers are looking to land Egyptian striker Mostafa Mohamed on a temporary deal, according to Alan Nixon, who shared John Eustace’s interest in a Patreon update.
The 27-year-old is in his third season with French side Nantes, having signed permanently after an impressive loan spell in 2022-23. However, he has struggled for form this season, scoring just two goals in 16 Ligue 1 appearances. Despite this, his international record remains strong, with 13 goals in 45 appearances for Egypt.

2023-24 | 29 | 8 | 2 |

This looks like a promising move for Rovers, and with Augustus Kargbo also set to join, Eustace could have plenty of attacking firepower at his disposal if Mohamed signs.
