The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) decided to resume the games of the extraordinary season after a month’s freeze while the national teams were competing in the African qualifiers for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
The games were scheduled to be played on Thursday but were delayed for an indefinite period due to security concerns.
