7+ Premier League clubs wants GEDO

Gedo -Mohamed Nagy

Egypt international Mohamed ‘Gedo’ Nagy is wanted by a number of Premier League clubs, says the director of his UK representatives.

The 27-year-old striker is currently on the books of Al-Ahly in his homeland, but he is being strongly linked with a move to Europe.
A number of English teams are said to be interested, with managers in the process of exploring all avenues available to them during the January transfer window.

They should need no introduction to Gedo as he was the top scorer at the 2010 African Cup of Nations.
An impressive record of 11 goals in 18 international outings suggests he is a finisher of some distinction and he would relish the opportunity to test himself on a grander stage.

That chance may arrive during the current window, with Menzo Messaoudi, director of Gedo’s UK representatives Premier Pro, telling reporters that he has been in contact with West Brom, Swansea, Wigan, Everton, Blackburn, Norwich and Wolves.

He said: “Gedo is a fantastic lad. Honest, hardworking and is a top professional.

“His goalscoring record speaks for itself and his experience and sheer ability will benefit the right club.
“We are in talks with a few clubs at the moment, and hopefully we can bring an exciting talent to the Premier League.
“I am confident he will have a bigger impact than Amr Zaki did during his time at Wigan.”
