Amr Zaki netted his first goal in the black and amber of Hull City as his late header saw the Tigers Reserves to a 2-1 victory over Bolton Wanderers at the County Ground in Leyland on Monday night.
The City line up showed a remarkable ten changes to the side that started the Reserves previous game, a 1-1 draw with Burnley, as Aidan Davison opted to give some match time to some of the first team squad players.
Kevin Kilbane, Richard Garcia, Dean Marney, Kamel Ghilas and Zaki were all included in the City side. Liam Cooper skippered the side in his first game back since recovering from a hand injury, whilst John Leonard was the one player retaining his place from the Burnley game.
