Egypt striker Emad Meteb welcomes interest from Belgian club Standard Liege as his exit from Ahli seems imminent.
“I met with officials from Standard and Meteb seems to be tempted by the move, but we are still negotiation,” Meteb’s agent Nader Shawki told FilGoal.com.
“We had an offer from Queens Park Rangers, but Meteb prefers to play top-flight football, so it has been turned down.
“I expect more offers in the upcoming period, but if nothing appeared, I think Standard could be Meteb’s next destination.”
