Video: Al Ahly signs Sfaxien hitman Dominique Da Silva

Egyptian club Ahly have agreed in principle with Tunisian side Sfaxien to sign their Mauritanian striker Dominique Da Silva.

“Ahly are in further negotiations with Sfaxien and the deal will be finalized within the coming few hours,” Tunisian newspaper Assabah said on Tuesday.
The 21-year old Da Silva joined Sfaxien seven years ago and it was reported in Egyptian media on Monday that he will sign a four and a half-year contract with Ahly.

“Ahly offered $400,000 but Sfaxien officials insisted on selling the player for $600,000,” added the paper.
It was reported last week that the Egyptian league title holders have acquired the services of Tunisian Club Africain’s striker Traore, but the move collapsed.

Ahly’s new Portuguese coach Manuel Jose is looking for a talented striker to strengthen his forward line in the second round of the Egyptian league.
The Red Devils have recently terminated their contract with Lebanese striker Mohamed Ghaddar, who failed to prove his worth, in order to make room for a new foreign striker.
