“I will return to Khartoum next Monday to resume my work with El-Merreikh,” El Badry told Sudanese newspaper Al-Sada on Wednesday.
The former Ahly coach had announced his resignation without disclosing the reasons for his sudden departure last Friday.
Later, the 51-year old tactician revealed that he took the decision because of the illness of his wife hinting that he may return if she became better.
“I wasn’t intending to resign when I left to see my family in Canada, but my wife’s sudden illness was the main reason of my decision. Now she is recovering and I can return to my work,” the coach explained.
“All what was reported about being in a dispute with El-Merreikh’s board over my financial dues or their interfering with my work is not true.
“We will continue our success in the Sudanese league with more passion and seriousness after dominating in the first round,” he added.
El-Merreikh are topping the Sudanese league table with 36 points, three ahead of second-placed Al Hilal.
