Zamalek failed to to keep Egyptian League title hope and draw 1-1 with Ittihad in Alexandria.
Zamalek’s goalkeeper Abdel-Wahed El-Sayed has apologized to the team’s fans following Sunday’s disappointing 1-1 draw at Ittihad of Alexandria.
“I apologize to our supporters for what happened today. We threw away what would have been a very important win,” El-Sayed, who was criticized by Zamalek’s faithful lately for letting in two soft goals in last week’s 2-2 Cairo derby draw with Ahly, said on Zamalek’s official website.
