Egypt’s U-20 midfielder Mohamed Ibrahim is the first African player to score a hat-trick in the World Cup history.

FIFA�s official site revealed on Saturday that Egypt and Zamalek midfielder Mohamed Ibrahim is the first African player to ever score three goals in one match – hat-trick – in the history of the U-20 World Cup Championship since its start in 1977.

�Egypt�s Ibrahim was the game star against Austria in the third round of the U-20 World Cup,� read a statement on FIFA website.
The 19-year-old, who came through the youth ranks of Cairo giants Zamalek, netted three second-half goals as Egypt crushed Austria 4-0 to qualify for the World Cup round of 16.
