Shikabala says he has been offered a one-week trial at Tottenham Hotspur, but Zamalek have ruled out the possibility of letting their star man go.
�The link with Tottenham has been there since last month�s Military World Games in Brazil,� Shikabala said.
�I hope Zamalek would allow me to go on trial. There is no shame in it, given the reputation of the club and the caliber of the English Premier League.
�If Zamalek agreed to let me go, I think it would be a good compensation for previous offers they had rejected from Anderlecht and Shabab of Saudi Arabia.�
Zamalek’s assistant coach Ismail Youssef simply said that Shikabala is not for sale and we are not willing to lose one of the team�s top player.
