Bradley’s agent says the Egyptian FA will make its announcement this week.

The former US boss was almost immediately targeted by the Pharaohs as a first-choice candidate after his dismissal in late July. Bradley flew to Egypt for a successful interview with the Egyptian FA.

“I can lead Egypt to qualify for the coming World Cup finals,” Bradley told CNN.

“The Egyptian team is well qualified to be a dangerous opponent, but it only lacks some organisation on the field. The Egyptian player is a talented one unlike the American who depends mainly on his fitness,” he added.

Egyptian Newspaper El-Ahram reported that the FA opened with an offer of nearly $700,000 annually, while Bradley was asking for a sum a bit closer to seven figures.

The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) are currently choosing between three candidates (Colombian Fancisco Maturana, Serbian Zoran Filipovi? and Bradley) in its quest for a replacement for Hassan Shehata, who left his position last June after failing to qualify for the 2012 African Cup of Nations.
