Zamalek will take on ENPPI in the Egypt Cup final, hoping to end their three year trophy-less run since their Cup victory in 2008.
The game will be a replay of the 2008 match, when the Whites defeated ENPPI 2-1. They will be hoping for the same outcome this year, while ENPPI are looking for their second ever title, following a first trophy in 2005.
Coach Hassan Shehata put the team on the fast track to the final, producing a string of impressive wins against Wadi Degla (4-1), Gouna (3-2), and Haras El-Hodoud (2-1). A Cup title will make the dream debut for Shehata ahead of the league that starts on Friday.
