Egypt Olympic team coach Hany Ramzy gave credit Sunday to his team’s goalkeeper, Ahmed El-Shennawy, for the 2-0 victory over South Africa in the U-23 African Championship on Saturday.
I was worried when at the end of the first half we finished with a goalless draw, Ramzy said to Modern Kora TV.
Egypt edged closer to ending their long wait for an Olympic appearance after beating South Africa 2-0 on Saturday to qualify for the U-23 African Championship semi final in Morocco.
