Al Ahly will face Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, the German side have proposed a friendly match with the Egyptian champions in Qatar, January 7th 2011 .
“We accepted the offer from Bayern as we saw that it could be possible to feature in this game after reviewing our schedule,” Abdul-Hafiz said.
“The venue should be Doha and a possible date would be the seventh of January.”
Al Ahly are likely to have a busy fixture list during the next couple of months, amid the progressive schedule of the 19-club Egyptian Premier League.
Bayern, on the other hand, will have a one-month break from domestic football before resuming their Bundesliga season on the 20th of January at Borussia Moenchengladbach.
