Defender Salah Soliman has been left out of Zamalek’s squad for Saturday’s Egyptian Premier League game against Wadi Degla after picking up a knee injury.Salah, who joined Zamalek in the close season, has been coach Hassan Shehata’s preferred option to partner Hani Saied in the heart of Zamalek’s defence during the past few games.
Egypt defender Mahmoud Fathallah, who fell out of favour with Shehata for some disappointing displays in the early stages of the season, returned to Zamalek’s roster and is likely to play alongside Saied against Wadi Degla.
