Former Ahly boss Hossam Al-Badry has undergone a successful heart surgery on Monday, following the heart attack he suffered earlier this week.
The 51-year-old Merreikh of Sudan coach was in intensive care after the heart attack, which occurred due to ‘excessive physical’ workload during fasting.
Hossam Al-Badry has been given an open vacation by the Sudanese club as the board handed the task of leading the team to assistant coach Farouk Gabra.
