Ghana international forward Agyemang Opoku is set for a three-day trial at Al Ahly SC ahead of a potential winter-break move, the club said on their official website.
The Reds said that Opoku, 23, will arrive in Cairo on Wednesday to be tested by manager Hossam Al-Badry, who should decide whether to sign him on a free transfer deal.
The Ghanaian international, who featured against Egypt in the CAN 2010 final, has been capped seven times by Ghana’s first team, as he can operate as a striker and a winger.
