Rio Ave forward Ahmed Hassan ‘Koka’ was injured in his Portuguese side’s 2-1 victory over Gil Vicente.
The 21-year-old player started the game for Rio Ave and had to leave six minutes before time due to injury. Rio Ave claimed a precious 2-1 away win that lifted them to the 11th place in the table with 27 points after 23 games.
Koka revealed on his Twitter account that scans proved it is just a muscle strain and that he needs two weeks off before resuming action.
The former Ahly striker has been a regular starter for Rio Ave, playing 22 league games so far this season.
