Ahmed Hassan ‘Koka’ scored the only goal for Rio Ave in a 1-0 away victory over Sweden’s Goteborg in the Europa League third qualifying round.
The Egypt international notched home after 22 minutes to give his side a clear advantage ahead of the second leg at home.
In the same round, Ahmed Elmohamady played 90 minutes for Hull City in a 0-0 first-leg draw at Slovakia’s AS Trencin.
