Eleven foreign-based players for Egypt’s national team have been called by the Pharaoh’s technical staff for a preparatory camp ahead of the 2015 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
In the 2015 CAN qualifiers, Egypt will play in Group G along with Tunisia, Senegal and Botswana. They are scheduled to be hosted by the Senegalese team on 5 September in the qualifiers opener.
The 11 foreign-based players:
Chelsea striker Mohamed Sallah; Hull City right winger Ahmed Elmohamady; Basel’s Mohamed El-Nenny and Ahmed Hamoudy, the Nacional de Madeira duo; defender Ali Ghazal and midfielder Saleh Gomaa, Grasshopper forward Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim ‘Kahraba’, Sporting pair; midfielder Mahmoud Abdel-Razik ‘Shikabala‘ and defender Rami Rabea; Rio Ave FC attacker Ahmed Hassan ‘Koka’ and Fiorentina defender Ahmed Hegazy.
