Cote d�Ivoire and Manchester City midfielder, Yaya Toure, has became the first player to win the African Player of the Year award for the fourth time in a row.
The 31-year-old beat Gabon�s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Nigeria�s Vincent Eneyeama to join Cameroon legend and Everton striker Samuel Eto�o as the only two players who won the prestigious award for 4 times.
Toure received the African Ballon d�Or in Lagos on Thursday night during the GLO ceremony before he will be joining Cote d�Ivoire ahead of the upcoming 2015 Africa Cup Of Nations finals in Equatorial Guinea starting January 17th.
