Hull target double transfer swoop on Chelsea and Tottenham for Mo Salah and Aaron Lennon.
Hull boss Steve Bruce has joined the race to take Mo Salah on loan from Chelsea for the rest of the season, writes Tom Hopkinson in the Sunday People.
Italians Roma and Turkish side Besiktas are also keen on the Premier League leaders’ 22-year-old Egyptian winger.
But Bruce has the backing of the Tigers’ Egypt-born owner Assem Allam as he tries to make the additions to his squad that will help them retain their Premier League status.
Salah, who moved to Stamford Bridge from Swiss side Basel a year ago, has struggled to get a regular run.
Bruce will press hard to land the player this month, although Salah still has to decide whether he wants to stay and gain Premier League experience or spend six months in Italy or Turkey.
And Hull have also joined the race for Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon.
With West Brom and Stoke also keen on the 27-year-old former England star, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is holding out for close to 10million.
Bruce values Lennon closer to the 6m mark.
